Who we are . . .

The Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association is an organization comprised of over 1200 command level law enforcement officers which includes not only chiefs of police, superintendents and commissioners, but also the commanding officers of federal, state and industrial agencies.

Our Association was formed in 1913 as a social organization and has evolved into a professional network of law enforcement managers.

The Association provides a wide variety of services to its membership such as education and training programs, testing and consulting service, legislation monitoring and mentoring assistance to name a few. We are dedicated to the professionalism of Pennsylvania’s law enforcement and strive to provide the tools needed to excel at police service.
