This program teaches how management can establish and enforce (without establishing a quota-system, or violating state anti-quota laws) objective and fair productivity standards to ensure that every employee contributes his/her fair share of work productivity.

Attendees will receive all forms and instruments needed to implement a Fair-day’s Work standards in their agency to include a computerized productivity data tracking program, and a certificate of attendance.

Presented by Van Meter & Associates, Inc., Columbus, Ohio.  Regular first registrant $155, each additional registrant $125.  Prepaid tuition is $135 first registrant, $105 each additional registrant and must be paid by March 31, 2010.

Spanish for Cops I

Location: PCPA Headquarters, Harrisburg
Cost: $100 per student, includes a full color textbook

Former Police Chief Johnny Rife, involved with law enforcement from 1978 - 2007 teaches this class. Chief Rife also writes curriculum for private schools throughout the country. The philosophy and concept of this course is quite simple, “Four Words or Less.” Attendees of this class will not be required to learn lengthy and complete sentences, but rather keywords to accomplish the command of any situation. Spanish for Cops I places emphasis on traffic stops and first encounters.

The class length is 2 and ½ days, with the last day committed to performing mock traffic stops. This has proven to be the most effective way to test the skills and knowledge taught in the classroom. Moreover, the scenarios received high accolades from all police officers and Pennsylvania State Troopers that previously attended this class.
