Message from the Executive Director

Welcome to the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association.

For more than a century, the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association has brought law enforcement leaders together to strengthen our profession, support our communities, and advance professional policing throughout the Commonwealth.

Today, PCPA represents more than 1,000 chiefs of police, command staff, public safety executives, and other law enforcement professionals across Pennsylvania. Our Association offers a statewide forum where leaders can share ideas, address emerging challenges, develop solutions, and speak with a strong, informed voice on issues affecting policing and public safety.

Our mission is reflected in the programs and services we provide every day. From professional training and leadership development to hiring and promotional services, law enforcement technology, legislative advocacy and analysis, accreditation, consulting, and other professional resources, PCPA is committed to helping Pennsylvania law enforcement agencies and their leaders succeed.

Just as importantly, we recognize that policing continues to evolve. New technologies, changing community expectations, workforce challenges, legislative developments, and emerging public safety issues require law enforcement leaders to remain informed, adaptable, and connected. PCPA is committed to helping our members navigate those changes while promoting professionalism, accountability, innovation, and excellence.
